Our History
Zoar Community Church was founded by a group of farm families in the early 1970’s. After several months in a machine shed, the members decided to build a church.
With their own hands the present building took shape, and continues to represent the vision of the founding families.
The first pastor was Dr. Bill Woodruff, and he was followed by Rev. Jim Everett, who shepherded the congregation for eighteen years.
After Rev. Cecil Cook served for three years, the congregation called Revs. Bill and Joan Dean to be co-pastors in 1996 until March, 2020. At that time Pastor Andrea Boggs began serving as our current pastor.
